Nationally known artist Donald Voorhees, along with his students and other artists, will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Atlantic Highlands Friends of the Library. Refreshments will be served courtesy of Friends of the Libary and Atlantic Wine & Spirits.
Our Second Annual Donald Voorhees event was another success. From proceeds made, Mr. Voorhees made a generous donation to the AH FOL in the amount of $419!!! Thank you again Mr. Voorhees for your generosity.
Macy's Shop for A Cause 2008: This
was held much earlier this year and due to the economic crisis, was not
as profitable as last year. We will need to decide whether or not to
continue this yearly event.
Macy's Shop for A Cause 2007: The
Friends of the Library would like to thank all of you who supported
this annual event by purchasing a $5 Macy's shopping pass. Hopefully
you took advantage of the bargains at Macy's on October 13th. This
year, the Friends of the Library sold 47 passes for a total of $235.
This covers various annual administrative costs required to maintain
our 501c3 tax-exempt status and gives us some extra funds for our
